He is the two-faced god par excellence, who is able to look to the past and the future. The past of that which men or nature have built, and the present of the technologies (such as laser scanners) that allow us to study and preserve it for future generations.\u2028\u2028\u2028Ianus is a cooperative of professionals originating from the need to integrate and network varied competences and experience, converging on techniques and ways of understanding architecture and the surrounding space.\u2028We are interested in studying architectural works, archaeological remains, the land itself, developing a clear organizational strategy and producing descriptive materials effective and useful for different clients. \u2028This includes, but is not limited to, metric surveys.<\/p>\n
Our knowledge is acquired through the analysis of the evolutionary history of a building, through a direct stratigraphic reading of vertical surfaces and an indirect analysis of historical and archival sources. \u2028We use photography to document the work environment and create high-quality, metrically-correct photo plans. \u2028We are able to identify instabilities and deformations within a structure, the materials used in the construction, and the form and extent of degradation present.\u2028<\/p>\n<\/div>
